Management Team
Robert Reagan
Mr. Reagan is founder of the Company and serves as the President of Public Wireless. Prior to the founding of Public Wireless, Mr. Reagan served in various roles directing or supporting various buy-side investment activities. Most recently, Mr. Reagan was the managing director of Chaos Venture Partners, L.P., a private investment fund located in Southern California. Previously, Mr. Reagan co-founded and served as manager of investment funding at FortuneLab, LLC, an incubator and venture investment fund. Mr. Reagan also served as a Senior Associate with Consolidation Partners, a private equity firm and merchant bank, and spent time working at Morgan's Stockbroking, an Australian investment bank and securities dealer. Mr. Reagan has served as an advisor or director to Public Wireless, SkyPipeline, Extreme Copper, AirCover, CIAO Wireless, Chaos Development, Thetawave, MCCI, VRVS Global, Red Swoosh, Majestic Entertainment, Resonic NDT Systems, 11eleven, Preservation Systems, ShareHorse, Beehive Wireless, Niagara Broadband, I-Connect, Sandbox Development Group, WEBei, LendingApps, and Orca Ventures, LLC. Mr. Reagan is a graduate of Pepperdine University.
Max Turqueza
Mr. Turqueza joined Public Wireless in May 2009. He brings more than 18 years of finance and administration experience to the company. Prior to joining Public Wireless, he served as an acting CFO at Eksigent Technologies. Eksigent develops systems that produce highly precise and accurate flow for medical device applications. He was the Controller at Polaris Networks when acquired by Public Wireless in May 2009. Max served in a wide variety of financial positions during his 18 years of Service. He held key Finance positions at Abbott Laboratories, Sears, GigaLabs, iDini, FlowWise Networks and Greenbriar Homes. Mr. Turqueza holds a Bachelor's of Science degree in Finance from CSUH.
Nart Bajj
Dr. Bajj joined Public Wireless in April of 2010 as VP of Engineering. Dr. Bajj is responsible for all engineering activities and product development of the company’s Radio products. Dr. Bajj possesses many years of product development management experience in the communication engineering field for wireless base station and satellite ground terminal industries. He has experience in the communication and engineering of Radio Frequency (RF) and high power design for 2G, 3G and 4G wireless networks. During his career at several Telecommunication companies and startups including ADC Wireless, Norsat, UTStarcom, Daliwireless, Inpower Technologies, he has proven experience in taking products through complete development and life cycle. He leads the design efforts of a strong engineering team focused on the design of high efficiency infrastructure equipment for several wireless network standards. Dr. Bajj holds a BEng Degree from Bath University and an MSc and PhD from UMIST Manchester, England.
Roger Haas
Mr. Haas is a member of the Board of Public Wireless, Inc. Mr. Haas is an experienced consultant on governmental planning and controls for the telecommunications industry and has worked with most of the major carriers. From 1988 to 2002 he worked in a variety of positions for Metricom, ultimately as Network Manager with responsibility for the development, implementation and operation of the Ricochet Network. He has extensive experience in political lobbying, fund raising, and project development.
Bob Dilworth
Mr. Dilworth is currently a director of Public Wireless, Inc. and Graph-On Corporation. In 1998, he served as the senior vice president and member of the board of VLSI Technology, a semiconductor manufacturer. From 1987 to 1998 he served as the Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Metricom, Inc., a leading provider of wireless data communication and network solutions. Prior to joining Metricom, from 1985 to 1988, Mr. Dilworth served as President of Zenith Data Systems Corporation, a microcomputer manufacturer. Earlier positions included Chief Executive Officer and President of Morrow Designs, Chief Executive Officer of Ultramagnetics, Group Marketing and Sales Director of Varian Associates Instruments Group, Director of Minicomputer Systems at Sperry Univac and Vice President of Finance and Administration at Varian Data Machines. Mr. Dilworth is also a director of eOn Communications, Mobility Electronics, Transcept Corporation, Yummy Interactive, Get2Chip.com, Inc., and Riverlake Partners LLC.
Michael Probstel
Mr. Probstel is an early investor in Public Wireless, Inc. and member of the Board of Directors. As an international investor, Mr. Probstel generally has early visibility of new technology development ideas throughout the world and uses this information to keep Public Wireless, Inc. fully appraised of new product ideas and new technology opportunities, thus supporting Public Wireless, Inc.' competitive advantage over local competitors.
Anthony S. Thornley
From February 2002 to July 2005, Mr. Thornley served as President and Chief Operating Officer of QUALCOMM Incorporated, the San Diego-based company that pioneered and developed technologies used in wireless networks throughout much of the world. He previously served as QUALCOMM's Chief Financial Officer beginning in 1994, while also holding titles of Vice President, Senior Vice President and Executive Vice President. Prior to joining QUALCOMM, Mr. Thornley worked for Nortel Networks for 16 years, serving in various financial and information systems management positions including Vice President of Public Networks, Vice President of Finance NT World Trade, and Corporate Controller Northern Telecom Limited. Before Nortel, Mr. Thornley worked for Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Thornley is a director of Airvana Inc. (provider of network infrastructure products), Cavium Networks (a semiconductor company), Transdel Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Proximetry, Inc. (a privately held wireless network management company), iSports Inc. (a privately held application software business) and KMF Audio, Inc. (a privately held microphone company) and also serves as Chief Financial Officer of KMF Audio. Mr. Thornley received his degree in chemistry from Manchester University, England, and is qualified as a chartered accountant.
Mike Will
Michael Will currently is the vice president of operations and support at Public Wireless. Previously Mr. Will was with U4EA Technologies and held responsibility for global manufacturing, support, quality and IT and he was vice president of customer operations at NextHop Technologies which was acquired by U4EA in May 2008. Prior to that, he was vice present of worldwide customer service and operations at Larscom Inc. With over 20 years of management experience he has held senior level management positions at VTEL, Compression Labs Inc. and has served in various technical roles within the defense contractor environment and security industry. Mr. Will earned Electronic Engineering degrees in both Video and BioMed technologies from Brown Institute, Minneapolis Minnesota and holds service management certifications from the University of Wisconsin.
Brad McManus
Brad McManus has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications with skills ranging from sales and business development to installation and project management. Mr. McManus has lead sales teams in UTStarcom and StarSolutions his strong technical background gave him the opportunity to lead sales engineering team with ZTE focused on Tier1 wireless service providers network replacement. Mr. McManus has worked with companies including Nortel Networks, Sprint, UTStarcom and Star Solutions. He has sold products and developed strategies for wireless services providers and equipment vendors. Brad has expanded wireless networks into tier 1, 2 and 3 service providers as well as the enterprise space with his unique understanding of small cell applications. Mr. McManus is a graduate of the RCC Institute of Technology in Canada.
